Himalayan singing bowls (standing bells that "sing") have been used throughout Asia for thousands of years in prayer and meditation, and are now used to promote relaxation and wellbeing.

Yoga Nidra or “conscious deep sleep” is one of the deepest forms of all meditations and can bring you great insight. Through the guided body scan with full awareness to each part of your body can help release accumulated physical and mental.
This 45 min. class is a blissful and transformative journey into the ancient yogic deep relaxation practice of Yoga Nidra accompanied by the live healing sounds of the gongs and Tibetan singing bowls.
During the live sound healing vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls can directly affect mood, brain waves, nervous system.

Mixing together Yoga breathing techniques and Sound Therapy is so effective because it influences our emotional bodies as well as our physical bodies.
Sound of Himalayan singing bowls and gongs vibrates in lines of the body, where energy flows and it helps balancing them. It unleashes central energy channel along your spine. This can be felt as slight tingling in the muscles or slight discomfort, if there are any blockages along the energy line.
Sound therapy is also beneficial for deaf or people with hearing impaired. Even if they don't hear the sound, they can still feel the vibrations.
There are also researches showing that sound therapy can help with improving aggressive and anti-social behaviour in children and youth.
Floating on sound
This workshop will begin optionally with a: few gentle restorative yoga poses to help open the body and release tension or only with some breath work to help you go deeper in your Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is practiced lying on your back in the position of corpse pose. Then will be followed by of sound therapy session with singing bowls and gong.
Close out your weekend feeling rejuvenated and restored – studies show just thirty minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep restful sleep.
Wear your most comfortable clothes and bring a pillow and blanket and/or little pillow for your eyes.

What results can you expect?
Sound therapy is said to help not only physical illness, but also help balance the emotions and quieten a busy mind. Most people feel calm and relaxed following treatment. For some, this feeling will last several days. You may also be given exercises to practise between treatments.
Contra-indications
Pregnant women (first trimestre),people with implanted heart pacemaker or metal plates in they bodies are not advised to undertake sound therapy and anyone with serious mental health problems should consult their doctor before receiving treatment.
